Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken Tenders: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the frozen chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a non-stick tray, and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the chicken is crispy and cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F) for safe consumption.
  2. Prepare the Tortillas: While the chicken cooks, gently warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or wrap them in foil and warm in the oven for 2-3 minutes. This makes them more pliable and easier to wrap.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread approximately 15 millilitres (1 tablespoon) of ranch dressing evenly over the center of each tortilla.
  4. Add Fillings: Place one cooked chicken tender on each tortilla. Top the chicken with a generous handful (about 45 grams) of shredded lettuce and 15 grams of shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll it tightly from the bottom to secure all ingredients inside. Serve immediately while the chicken is still warm for the best taste and texture.
