Instructions

Once hot, add the flour all at once and stir vigorously until the dough forms a cohesive ball. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for several hours until firm.
  2. Preheat the oil: Fill a deep skillet or saucepan with about 2 inches of vegetable oil and heat it to 350°F (175°C) for frying.
  3. Cut the dough: Remove the chilled dough from the loaf pan. Using a sharp knife (rinsing it between cuts if needed), cut the dough into small pieces such as cubes or diamond shapes.
